Ginger’s Perfect Day– General Aeronautics News

Tom Martin submitted this picture and note: “Perfect summertime days in the Pacific Northwest are best spent flying to tiny airfields in remote locations. On now we flew “Ginger,” a 1973 Cessna Skyhawk 172 M, to W 10 Bourbon Ten, as it’s understood to neighborhood pilots, is a tight strip nestled inside a forest on Whidbey Island near Langley, Washington. This aviation heaven is close to Seattle yet feels like one more globe. There are bikes available for adventures into community, and a terrific bakery coffee bar on the field for a quick bite prior to the following flight. Removing from W 10 is finest done to the south and the trees make every departure interesting.”
